Join us on our Maralinga Beadell Tracks tour! This one is for the remote traveller enthusiast. We start in Ceduna, then head to Maralinga for the excellent 2 day Maralinga tour before hitting the Beadell tracks!
You will drive on the Anne Beadell, the Connie Sue, the Gunbarrel, Talawana and the Gary Highway.
You will traverse some of the worlds most remote deserts, the Great Victoria Desert, the Gibson Desert, the Little Sandy Desert and the Great Sandy Desert.
This is our most remote trip covering approximately 3000kms on the Beadell Highways! The challenge for this trip is the remoteness of the country we travel through. Whether you want to swag it, tent it, or bring your Australian built camper trailer this tour is for you! Yes, we are very happy to take trailers on this tour, so pack the camper and come along!
We travel this trip at a leisurely pace, taking 23 days to take in the stunning scenery. Place names you’ve only dreamt of. Lets see…Australia’s hottest town, Marble Bar, the remote Aboriginal community of Parngurr, the nuclear test sites of Maralinga, and what about Windy Corner, to name but a few on this epic trek.
Leaving Ceduna on the 25th of June, the best time of year to be heading into the centre of Western Australia, beautiful days with cooling nights. Enjoy remote camping at its finest, toasty camp fire every night, and why not try your hand at a camp oven cook up!
The remote travel on this trip demands that your car is in great condition, so we ask for a complete vehicle inspection prior to joining us by a mechanic who knows what they are looking for! Suspension is a must on this tour, as well as good quality off road tyres with plenty of tread left on them. You will need to be able to carry fuel for approximately 1200kms, but apart from that, bring your sense of adventure and join Adam on a trip you will never forget.
